Through faith in Christ, you can do amazing things – But you have to believe beyond human reason [John 24:12-14] Many people want to believe today, and get it tomorrow. However, we must learn to be patient and to be prepared; the process is important to receive the promise.
Any expectant mother understands proper preparation. From the moment she finds out she is pregnant, she begins preparing for her blessing. She calls her mom, sister and/or friends to share her news.
After a very long nine months of sickness, countless doctor visits and weight gain, she is dealt pain she has never experienced before. Pain that she has no idea how long it will last, but she knows all her planning was for this moment.
She didn’t wait until she had labor pains to find a doctor, or buy a car seat, baby bed, diapers, clothes, bottles, pacifiers, etc. In fact, she probably had a baby shower where her family and friends helped her prepare.
You can’t just ‘wish’ something into existence. You must be properly prepared to receive your blessing. Although many people only pray when they’re faced with the labor pains of life, it’s time for you to prepare ahead, to pray ahead and go Beyond Reason!
Spiritual preparation requires prayer. What is your process of Prayer? Is your prayer mixed with faith? [Hebrews 4:2] Do you have family/friends with faith that will pray with you? [Matthew 18:19] God told Joshua if you want to know the secrets of prosperity, health and good success don’t let the Word depart from your mouth [Joshua 1:8]
Don’t wait for the labor pains of life to pray. Start preparing now for the promises of God in your life. Plan in advance what you will do to reach that goal and be prepared to get it.
Pray ahead to stay ahead and go Beyond Reason!
