My Father

My Father, Harry Ararat MusheganMy earliest recollection of my Father was that he was the Biggest, Strongest and most Fearless man I knew. I knew there was nothing my father, Harry Ararat Mushegan, could not do. When he set his mind to a task, he wouldn’t give up until he had conquered it.

My Father was my mentor, my personal confidant and my friend. It was my Father that saw the value in me and placed me at the helm of the Church he had worked so hard to build. He truly believed in me and he was my biggest fan. When I was distressed about a situation, it was my father that placed his hands on me and prayed, which gave me great confidence.

My Father loved his family and often said “If I could give my life to make yours better I would.” My Dad was a man of faith and power who never swerved in his relationship with God, nor the people he loved. He never had an unkind word for anyone, even those who had wrongfully used him. What a Man!

On May 8, 2013, about 5:07pm, my wonderful father went to meet the One he had worked for most of his life, Jesus Christ. Even though I will miss him, I am happy for him. I know that one day we will be reunited in heavenly places.

Dad, I love you! I want to thank you for all the time you took teaching me how to work on machines, build houses and Churches, but most of all I want to thank you for teaching me how to Love and work for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You have eternally blessed me and for this I am grateful, you still are my wonderful father . . .  Thank you . . .
