We Fight BoldI’m so proud to be the Pastor of a church who has such a passionate Outreach team.  This team works tirelessly throughout the year supporting the women in our community. This year they are fighting harder than ever before by combining the Miles for Mammograms & Worship in Pink into the same weekend. Please make plans to join us September 28 & 29 as “We Fight BOLD”

The East-West Church, in partnership with WellStar Cobb, is excited to announce We Fight BOLD™; a two-day event  to bring awareness to and raising funds for early detection of breast cancer.

    $250 best hand | $50 worst hand | Bikes, Trikes and Autos welcomed
  • 12:00pm Famous CullWhite BBQ
  • 4:00pm Vendors, Carnival rides & more
  • 5:30pm Live Music from RAMBUNCTIOUS

The night comes alive with one of Cobb County’s largest and most spectacular fireworks display presented by the world renowned pyrotechnical firm of Pyrotecnico. With over 118 years of experience, they deliver consistent world class performances.

  • 11:00am 8th Annual Worship in Pink®(WIP) service. This is our chance to spread the message that early detection is the key to survival.This day is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their battle with breast cancer, supporting those who are fighting, and celebrate with those who are victorious. We show our support by wearing pink & raising funds to assist with early detection.

*Both events start and end at East-West Church

In the event of rain, all Saturday events, including the fireworks, will be moved to October 5th. However, Worship In Pink® will still be held on September 29th,@11am

Proceeds from these events benefit the WellStar Foundation to fund mammograms and genetic risk assessment for low income and under-insured women
