Why Is This Happening To Me?

Why Is This Happening To Me

How do you handle things you don’t understand? This is an important question because many times this will be the difference in your success or failure. How you handle a situation can take you into fear, or move you into faith.

Have you ever found yourself asking “why is this happening to me?” Then you proceed to try to blame others, or even question God?

People often say “I don’t understand why I’m having such a difficult time? “I’ve been a Christian all my life and I’ve done all I know to do.” They will ask “doesn’t God care about me [or this situation], has He forgotten me?” You list all the things you’ve done for God while asking Why? Why? Why?

You have just attempted to ‘reason’ why a situation is happening? Reason is defined as; the mental powers concerned with forming conclusions, judgments, or inferences.

What happens when you go outside what you think or can comprehend? What if you go beyond what you have been told, beyond the traditions and into a supernatural experience? What if you go ‘Beyond Reason?’

What if in the midst of trouble you continue to give thanks? What if instead of fighting the trouble, you learn to embrace it and learn from it? Steel is made strong through fire and so can you.

Roman 5:3-5 tells us to “glory in tribulations knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Remember that every time hell comes at you, and you see with the eyes of faith, you develop maturity that the enemy of our soul just can’t handle.

We need to stop trying to escape difficult times and start considering tests and challenges a gift. Through the pressure of our trials, our faith life is forced to open and show its true color. We have the opportunity to grow and to become stronger [James 1:2-4]

It’s time for you to start walking ‘Beyond Reason’ and become who God has called you to be!
